Nice and easy grab despite not having gps working at gz. Found the benchmark, grabbed, signed and replaced cache. Log is in complete disarray and totally full. Suggest putting a new log in the cache. TFTC!

I drove up to Denver from Caņon City. The traffic was horrendous on I-25 so I took the scenic route back and hunted a few caches along the way. This one made the list. I love these benchmark caches and own several of them myself. The cache and benchmark were quick and easy finds, but the cache log is pretty tattered and it could use a new one. Thanks for placing this one and keeping it going for our enjoyment.

Today I came up to Staunton State Park in hopes of grabbing an FTF. After an hour journey in traffic from Southeast Aurora, we arrived just before dusk. Sometimes I'm nervous about caching in the mountains. The tall peaks interfere with my GPS signal and I fear that it also interfered during placement. So inevitably, I am mentally preparing for being lost in the woods and attacked by bears, mountain lions, and elk. Glad it hasn't happened (yet.)
After grabbing caches in the park, I headed out alone.
I'm grateful for an easy to spot cache in a civilized area away from the DANGERS of the forest :) I also logged the benchmark. TFTC!

Some of the cache contents were on the ground outside the cache. Replaced them and the kiddo traded out some small trinkets. The log should be replaced - it was full and damp.

SL, TFTC. #4 of 7 caching the Bailey area today.

I am out from Aurora, Colorado. I am loving the geocaching out here in the Mountains of Colorado. I just road the train in Chama, NM. I am heading back home. Highway 160 was closed due to the forest fire. at least 285 is reopened. I have to take this back way home. On the Bright side I get to hit some more geocaches. Thank you for the hide. TNLN.
