FTF co find with iMacKid
We noted this cache near a week ago and just did not have time to do it knowing it would be a several hr jaunt. The overall terrain difficulty can best be judged by the fact that the FTF was still available after nearly two weeks! We had a new newbie on first time out with us. The coords are severely off but by pure luck i gave the newbie a quadrant to search and they came up with the find! NICE CACHE! with lots of goodies including a TB for the FTF which we allowed to the newbie along with a co-find FTF. We have yet to help them create an account and start logging but will get that done along with a newly registered TB. The SWAG was really nice, took two items and left two micro caches loaded with logs ready to hide.
On initial approach we got lot of gps bounce using smart phone but gave us a general area to start searching using a sweep of my hand - inside that area. While newbie searched I manually punched coords into my trusty Garmin and hit GO TO when the cry of Found It floated out of a pile of rocks. With bounce Garmin showed GZ being off 60-90 ft. While signing log and looking over SWAG took 3 reads from 3 locations each 3' from actual GZ using 500 satellite hit averages on each. Will average those three out and post coords here in next day or two when have time to download info from the Garmin.

YEAH! Co FTF and my second find! kekj wanted to come get the FTF and decided to bring me along and teach me Geo Caching 101 never dreaming that I would make the actual "find" while he was dinking around with his old fashioned GPS while attempting to lock down the coords. Intuitive eyes are better than a GPS. I got the Signal Tbug and we each swapped some SWAG. Climbed up the nearby high point and did some rock climbing to enjoy the view, WOW COOL! TFTC SL visited TBs
