This is our 10th anniversary of geocaching so we were in the area picking up some solved puzzles and challenging hides to qualify us for an anniversary challenge cache.
Needed a little nudge to get us started and then it was smooth sailing. Thanks for a great D/T combo cache.

I grabbed the clues for this one last week but I was headed in another direction that day. I had a little extra time before heading home today and made quick work of the final. TFTC

Had a great time caching with jasperdakota on this sunny day. We loved tromping around getting these creative multis. Perfect time of the year to get them given previous logs. Thanks for hiding them!

Hooray!! With this find, I not only got a new square on my Fizzy grid but I also recompleted my goal of finding all geocaches within a 3 mile radius of my house. I had actually completed that goal about a year ago. That is, until a certain other cacher started dropping copious amounts of geocaches around this part of town. He shall be unnamed, but I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. But enough about him. Actually, one more thing. I first met the CO of THIS cache while trying to avenge a DNF on one of those nearby caches. And LostinDenver gets credit for that find. Now on to this cache.

There aren't too many 4/4 caches in the area. At least, ones that don't involve a culvert. Not that I mind those types of hides, but they're not close to me. So, when I heard that this final may not be too far from me, I had to do it.

The puzzle had me completely stumped at first. I played around with different ideas and then asked the CO for a nudge. He did perfectly, directing my attention to another cache of his. That did the trick. Although even that wasn't as easy at first. I did a lot of Googling which got me absolutely nowhere. But the light bulb did go on after reading and re-reading and then reading one more time the description for that other cache. Yes, this version is more difficult. But, I managed to discern the necessary information from the noise.

When I looked up where the next waypoint would be I was excited. There actually used to be a cache at that very spot! Unfortunately, it's no longer there. And it would be difficult to put one there anyway. Maybe someone will sometime.

I sat on the final solution for a few days and then had an opportunity to grab the final today. At GZ, it wasn't quick work to get the find but I didn't want to ask for any more hints. I kept searching and then the container revealed itself. I am very happy to be one step closer to a full D/T grid. An accomplishment I had thought would be farther away than it's turning out to be.

Thanks for the hide LostinDenver. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Happy to get this one. Went to WP1 yesterday and gathered info, but wrong info. Suspected so, and got clarification from CO. Went for the final today with my teeth gritted for the terrain rating. Giving a fave for the puzzle concept. sl thanks!
