This is on the mountain behind Alma. I took a high clearance vehicle. It is a pretty EZ road. It is a large container with swag, a log book and a pen.
A Very Good Morning. I took CubBoy to school and headed up I was up here by 8:00. I had to go through a little snow and it was forty-nine degrees and very windy. It was fun! Hope you enjoy the ride or hike. Don't forget your camera its BEAUTIFUL up here.

5 Logs: Found it 5

Good afternoon (by the time I got here)! The last two tenths mile were an effort since I was already tired, but it was worth it. Colorado has many magnificent views, and this is one. It was amazing to have a place like this all to myself. The cache was in good shape. The baggy had a tiny puncture, so the log was barely damp. I let it dry and put it in a new baggy. It was a snug fit, and really needs a sandwich size if the next person would bring one. Thanks for placing a cache here.

Spending our 5th summer in Buena Vista with a dozen or so of our Jeeping friends. We love to explore the roughest, toughest dirt roads in our gold-mobile, and find lonely caches in out-of-the-way places.

Continuing the drive up the mountain this is the last cache in the area. Although it appears no one has been here in awhile the log was signed on 8/18/14. Water in container but the log was dry due to good zip lock bag. TFTC

Wow its been almost a year since a find. Found it no problem, this is really an out of the way location. Container had a couple inches of water in it. Log is dry in the zip lock bag though. Thanks for bringing me to this great location!
