Scenic view  Difficult climbing  Not Available at all times  Not Recommended at night  Cliff / falling rocks  Dangerous area  Parking available  Public restrooms nearby  Picnic tables nearby  Bicycles  No Campfires  No Stealth required  Needs maintenance  No Night Cache  Medium hike (1km-10km)

The main stone that is placed during construction of any building is called the cornerstone and is often much larger in size than the others with the construction year engraved in it. I love history and imagined this would be a perfect spot for a castle.

This is a very large cache so you can bring large items to trade!

Mount Falcon Park is full of wildlife and history,

Today I set out to grab an FTF on Mt. Falcon. In Denver is was really warm. But at this elevation, it was the perfect temperature for a hike. Unfortunately, my FTF attempt was unsuccessful, but good news - I found all the other caches I looked for! During my journey I saw a chipmunk, a fox, and heard a variety of birds. The views along the mountain are beautiful!
I don't know if I took the hard way to get here, or if it's always that hard. But I found the container which, unfortunately needs a lot of help. The bottom half is completely collapsed and the top has a few silver dollar sized holes. SWAG under the lid has been chewed by small forest creatures. But like others have said, beautiful view and well worth the hike.
TFTC!

Yep views were worth the extra work on the terrain. The container is very close to a hawk nest and they got pretty close a few times.

It is also in need of repair, a new container would be the best. It’s proven in several places around on and on top.

Thanks for the hide and the amazing views.

Headed west early in the day (before it got too hot), to get a few geocaches - this was the fourth of five. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

A huge cache but the container is almost completely destroyed. I doubt it will make it into the winter. Unfortunate too because it's in a great location! A little bit of a sketchy hike down. TFTC!

Will hopefully be getting a new container in place soon!

I am out from Aurora, Colorado. I am loving the geocaching out here in the Mountains of Colorado. I just road the train in Chama, NM. I am heading back home. Highway 160 was closed due to the forest fire. at least 285 is reopened. I have to take this back way home. On the Bright side I get to hit some more geocaches. Thank you for the hide. TNLN.

Wow that was awesome, so much fun! TFTC! What a great cache. The container was dry now but I could tell everything had gotten wet at some point (probably the holes in the lid). ::))
