Dogs  Recommended for kids  Takes less than an hour  Available at all times  Picnic tables nearby  Short hike (less than 1km)

A popular neighborhood spot for dog walkers and picnics, and a local hang out for kids in the summer. You'll need to travel off the path a bit when you see the little plank bridge, cross it and take a left down into a dryed out creek bed and continue inside until you find a cement "land mark" on the right side of the little hill. I do not recomend doing this after a heavy snow/rain, because the creek bed will be a bit damp (it will never flood though). ENJOY!

 Hints

Look for a storm water runoff on the east side of the creek bed, standing right in front of it, on your right

Definitely a unique hide and area.

I followed the directions, & felt like a kid again exploring along the creek. :-) After DNFing another cache this morning, and going 0-3 on letterboxes, I was super glad to make this find. I almost missed it, because I was looking for a micro, like the description says. :-) At least the cache was bigger, not smaller! TFTC

I went out to grab a few of the newer caches.
I hiked up the trail, crossed the currently dry stream and then followed a fairly well defined geotrail to the spot described by the hint. Gave it a wide search but came up empty.
With all the recent rain, I wonder of this could have washed away.

I was at rampart park caching with some friends when this cache published. We knew it was getting late and dinner time so I passed on the race for this FTF. After dinner and honestly a couple of hours later I got a message that Squirts was going to go for this one as no one had claimed it yet. I said I would join him. We met up nearby and hiked out to the GZ. After a couple of minutes later in the dark and wet we found the cache. Yeah! Luckily what did it have inside? A blank logbook! YEAH! {FTF} ! We celebrated the find and then hiked back to our cars. after a chat we headed home. Thanks for the reason to get back out and find more fun things! Nice little area to hide a cache in as well.

- The world tongue-twister champion just got arrested. I hear they’re gonna give him a really tough sentence.

CO FTF with QAZ. Got the notification and contacted Qaz. Once he arrived, the search began. Cache was found after a brief search. Signed log and returned. [FTF]
