This cache is near Bear Lake in the Flattops area South West of Yampa in Routt county.
The Container is clear tupperware and containe a few relative inexpensive items. The cache is in a fairly large woodpile next to a tepee frame (used for elk hanging?) It is approximately 300 ft off a rough dirt road and over a small ravine. Park at a turnoff with a rock fire ring.

Thanks for bringing us here! The reservoir is the lowest we’ve ever seen it :-( Easy find after a bit of a hike :-)

Area very overgrown and a bit of a challenge to stay dry crossing the creek. GPS about 68 feet off today. SL thanks

On a county run before GW 14er in Denver and love this back country here. The hint was great, as you don't see them like that any more, only on these guys. So glad we had the Rubicon as the road was really muddy and still raining. Donned our rain gear and up to get the cache. A rare, non-epic adventure, fav point from me.

Made our biannual visit to this cache. This time hiked from the Bear Lake CG. Cache was a bit damp, so ate lunch while it dried out. Two previous logs in 2015. Thanks for the hide.

Wow what a difference 3 hours makes. Tried earlier this morning, but there was way to much snow. By the time I came back snow was all melted off cache. Signed log for another find in Colorado.

Looks like almost exactly a year since the last found was logged for this one. We were up here with horses for 3 days of riding & I was able to stop for this one on my way out. This is such a beautiful area with lots of outdoorsy things to see & do. Wow has this cache been here for a long time. The road sign no longer exists, but I did know where this road was from previous scouting. There is a TH & parking area at the top. The road is in pretty good condition & should not require a 4WD anymore. I think the cache is quite a bit further than 300' from the parking area, but follow the coordinates & it will get you within 70' of the cache. Then you have to use the description to locate the container. I picked up the coin since it had been there since last fall. The ravine was running with plenty of water and between that & the wet grass my shoes were soaked when I finally got back to the truck.

Camping in the area so decided to visit this cache to drop off a travel bug. It is a unique travel bug and I thought this cache would be a good place to pass it along.
