A pleasant hike to a not so visited region of da park. Once off of the beaten path, enjoy a walk on the wild side. For those of you that are interested, the original 'Not Worth Saving' is located nearby at N39 56.013 W104 51.836. There is also another classic located not to far away at N39 55.987 W104 51.766. This one is also not worth saving. Adams County Park is open from sunrise to sunset and closed from sunset to sunrise.

I was over at Outlaw Cache and wanted to get to Dog Pound Digs. I figured this one would be closer to the main trail than backtracking, so I headed off in this direction. I'm used to bushwhacking thru Arkansas, so this was a piece of cake (especially in winter). Glad I didn't have to find this one in summer, the cold kept all the creepy crawlies way away today. I was really surprised to hear voices, looked up to see a couple disc golfers just a little ways off. I don't think they even saw me, but I realized I need to make sure I don't get bonked with a frisbee on the way out. Thanks for the find - #2118.
