This was the first in the series that we tackled today. The following comments cover all, 1 through 10.

Coordinates ranged from spot on to pretty rough (about 46') from posted. This one, for example, was about 40' SW of the posted coordinates. For this style of hide location and container, that's not lethal, but if the CO starts hiding caches in difficult hide environments where 40' is just about guaranteed to generate DNFs, that will be another story.

All containers were in good shape except for this one (#6). We found no container, just the log rolled up inside a Post-It Note and stuffed back into the hole in the post. Nothing protects this log from weather of any sort at present.

These little containers remind me of the ones my dentist used to give me with a little mercury in them when I was a kid. Hey, what did we know? Looks like they should stay intact over a fairly long period of time.
