Out caching with Hives on a nice day in and around Canon City. TN - TFTC

On an all day cache outing with Ark Goose in the Canon City area to pursue puzzles, challenges, and other interesting caches along the way. It was a perfect day for caching. We were mostly successful in our endeavors with only a few DNFs along the way. There were some that we started to pursue and determined they would require more time and effort than we could invest today so saved them for another time. Thanks to the COs for providing and maintaining a lot of fun caches in this area. Also discovered a lot of fun TBs along the way. Focused on the wrong beacon at first. Fortunately the hint helped redirect us to the hidey spot. There were several muggles in the area, one of which wanted us to now that the beacon wasn't operational and we thanked them for the info and kept searching. Nice hide. SL. TFTC

Thank goodness for the hint on this one or I would have missed this call. Searched a lot of good places before checking the hint and making the find. SL TFTC

At first I was focused too much on the Ringy Dingy. When I read the hint and really thought about it, I got a new perspective and found the cache in short order. Thanks for hiding this cache.

I solved a bunch of puzzles in this area before heading out here from Chicago while on a family vacation. Today, my wife and our older children went rafting, but our 4-yo was too young to go so we spent the morning geocaching in Canon City. No problems with the find here...TFTC!

I solved this puzzle a while back but just managed to find some time for a stop by here tonight. Came by GZ twice because there were some muggles hanging around the first time. Night is the best time to come here because it is a high muggle area. But it's a fairly warm November Saturday night so I wasn't surprised to see plenty of folks out tonight. Came back an hour later and saw the coast was clear for a search. Looked around for a little bit and didn't see anything promising. Went back to the car to get my phone and check the hint. Bingo! Cache was in excellent condition and right where it was supposed to be. Signed log then headed down to brothers for a celebratory beverage. Thanks 9-rushman and farmgirl79 for another fun cache!!
