In field Puzzle Log only geocache.
The mouth of the Little Dry Creek is noted as the location of the first
significant gold discovery in present-day Colorado. In the first
week of July 1858, Green Russell and his brothers discovered a gold
pocket that yielded several hundred dollars' worth of gold. The
discovery set off the Colorado Gold Rush in the following year.
Colorado has progressed with several gold rushes such as the technology
boom, legalized marijuana, micro brews, skiing in the mountains and golfing
in the front range. Colorado is a treasure of wealth and fun. You might be able
to think of others. This is the start of a gold adventure series along the Big Dry Creek
where you too will discover gold!
At the posted coordinates you will find two, four digit years.

Decimal is added after the addition is
finished.
W104 57876 + lower year (W104 xx.xxx)

Thanks for the fun puzzle cache! Had to struggle with the container a bit to get it in a position where I could unscrew the lid. Managed to sign and replace without dropping anything.

Eureka! This is a nice little park that I never visited before, even though I used to live in the area. Loved watching the ducks, they are so cute! And I never knew the history of the Colorado gold rush started here - wow! Thanks for setting up this cache so I could discover it. It was a lot of fun.
I was a little stumped at first because my calculated way-point was in the middle of the pond, thank God I didn't have to swim for it! I was a bit nervous about grabbing the cache, as prior visitor's logs indicate, but yea, no fumble fingers for me. After signing the log, I was able to replace the cache in its precarious hidey-hole.

Had some help with solving this awesome puzzle. Today we were able to make the find since we were near by completing the Virtual cache for the GeoCache Challenge of the Month. Love these containers you guys have!!! Really would love to know were you guys get these! Favorite point awarded.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

My 27 mile bike ride today took me to this cache at 8:06 am when I made the find. Thanks for the cache and for making my route more fun!

Cache is in a precarious spot - I hope it lasts.
