Another cache in my Horse series along the Ringtail Trail.

Park at the Indian Creek TH on CO 67 ($6 parking fee), 10 miles west of Sedalia (just past the Rampart Range Rd. intersection). Start on the Indian Creek Trail #800 near the bathroom & follow that up to the old "Dump Rd" and cross it to the well signed Ringtail Trail & continue up to the cache. Close to two miles one way. Stay on the trail until your GPS reads about 100'.

The cache is a camoed large plastic container hidden in a rock outcrop. No real climbing, but watch your step.

There are great views here too.

Owner Maintenance 10/29/2017 By Back Country Horsemen
We rode up today to do annual maintenance on my caches along the Ringtail trail. Since it had been reported that this container was chewed up I brought along a replacement. It was indeed very chewed up & the critters had gotten inside and chewed some of the SWAG items. I replaced the plastic container with a metal tin. It is a bit smaller but will still hold reasonable travel bugs. You may want to bring a tool to open it because I imagine over time it may rust a bit.
I retrieved the TB that was in this cache.

We finally dragged the trailer and horses up here to ride and find a couple of BCH's caches. The weather was perfect for us and the trails were damp enough not to be dusty. Ladybugs and butterflies everywhere on the many wildflowers that are blooming. Had no trouble finding this cache. The cache container could stand to be replaced as it has several holes in it. The log is still in great shape in it's baggie. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for placing this cache so that we can play!

Found it with the kids. Daughter loves horses, so loved this cache. Left a trackable.

Co FTF on this sweet cache. Drove 1000 plus miles to make the snag. A bit chilly and muddy, but, we got the job done. Thanks to animjason for being a great host.
