This cache is located in a small turn-off on Hwy 114 between Gunnison and Saguache. It's my families favorite spot to pull over and stretch.

It's extremely accessible by any type of vehicle and flat. It's a beautiful area and it's right off the highway.

Basic Directions:
Hwy 114 in Colorado.
Between Mile Marker 36 & 37.
Turn-out on North side of Highway.
Altitude is 8,826 ft.

In the hints, I am going to include a link to a photo album which will show exactly what you are looking for. Since this cache isn't in an urban setting and therefore isn't accessible to the everyday cache'r, the photos will help you find it much easier. If you are going to wing it without the picture help, be my guest. It's not hard, but the pictures help.

I am really just looking to share this great rest spot between the two towns.

We stop there every couple of months during our travels so we will be able to check on the cache regularly.

I didn't place much into the cache just because I don't really expect many people to go to this cache.

Since our visit to the USA one year ago we knew that we would come back this year. This time we visited the nothwestern part with all its beautiful places. For 5 weeks we took a trip through different landscapes and national parks. We still cannot internalize these unfogettable impressions. We would like to thank all owners for bringing us to that special places. Some of them we would not have found without a cache. We are looking forward to our next vacation in this great country.

This day we could visit that one.

Schon bei unserem USA Urlaub vor einem Jahr war klar, dass wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Dieses Mal sollte der Nordwesten mit all seinen Schönheiten besucht werden. 5 Wochen lang ging es für uns durch die unterschiedlichsten Nationalparks und Landschaften. Die ganzen Eindrücke konnten wir noch gar nicht verarbeiten. Wir möchten allen Ownern danken, dass sie uns an die speziellen Orte geführt haben, von denen wir viele ohne Cache wohl nicht gefunden hätten. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub in diesem großartigen Land.

Found during our roundtrip through the USA. Nice place. Everything was okee. Ducktape on container and everything was dry.

7:20 Made alone a short attack to the cache site. This was already second cache today and was found without troubles at the presented coordinates. Cache lid was not 100%, but everything looked fixed and the some content as well was available. Close to road but feeling like in pure wilderness. Back to my wife I headed by same tracks. TFTC, TNLN, no bears and no critters of all kinds :( still having no luck

Found as described by fishbum. didn't h have a replacement container so replaced as found. will post a needs maintenance log as it hasn't been looked at since it was rescued July.
