This is a challenge cache.  The cache is at the posted coordinates and is a 1.5/1.5.  The overall cache difficulty has been adjusted because of the challenge.  To claim a find you must sign the log and meet the requirements listed below.  You are welcome to sign the log at any time, post a note, and log your smiley once you verify the requirements are met.

 

I really enjoy the adventure that comes with a T5 cache.  Many of my caching stories come from these.  There are a couple folks who may not want to go cache hiking with me anymore, you know who you are!  The challenge requirements:  Find 50 caches with a terrain rating of 5.  I meet the requirements for this challenge with 70 cache finds with T5 ratings.

This was our third stop this morning and I went ahead and added my stamp to the log. I'm a few short of officially qualifying but should have it wrapped up this summer. Will circle back when I qualify!

I didn't need to do any rough terrain finding this cache, but I qualify for it:

[FTF] 5-13-2023 at 6:01 pm. Now my phone signal is gone and the rain is lightly falling. Hopefully it doesn't get worse. Do I qualify? You bet I do:

Today was rough. I worked, but had to leave early with a migraine headache. After going home, taking medicine, and a 4 hour nap, I was mostly recovered. I headed to an event, then off to a powertrail of challenge caches. That was a blast involving rolling skies and powering through muddy roads. Afterward, I headed northwest and cached back into civilization. Another great day of caching in the books!
