I started out heading for a different cache (Quad Duster's Lunchtime Cache), but it looked like that one was going to be a longer hike than I wanted to do, so I decided to hunt for this one instead. This is kind of a lonely cache--only 16 finds in 10 years. I passed a Jeep coming back the other way and the driver told me the road got very rough just ahead. So I stopped about 0.25 mile from the coordinates and hiked the rest of the way. My Tacoma would have easily made it right to the grave site. Oh well, it was a nice little hike. I only used 4-wheel drive for the last mile.

Although it isn't mentioned in the description or in any of the logs, there is a second grave site here belonging to Joseph P. Jansen (1926-1990). He was also a veteran. I actually spotted his grave before I saw Frank Nulph's grave.

The cache was an easy find, even without the hint. Thanks to $RustyJones$ for the replacement container. It's now a small rather than a micro. I added a few things, signed the log, and tucked it back where found.

Thanks for this cache in an interesting location that I would otherwise never have known about, much less visited. Favorite point added for an amazing location.

Good spot for the cache and nice final resting place for Frank. The grave has quite the collection of beer/ammo/coins/flags/etc. Thanks.

Wow. This one was a really tough one to get to. A lot harder than a 1-2 stars. Quick easy find. Stamped the log and we're off to the next one. [8d][8d] SL TFTC TNLN

Wonderful location here on such a nice fall day with audheidian. Past logs had the cache forlorn, $RJ$ and audheidian put in a replacement cache. Midsize camo-taped plastic container. To see some of the old mining works in the area, what a hard life it had to be years ago. May All Rest In Peace. $RJ$

Drove past it the first time. Gravesite is very cool. Looks like someone left old Nulph a few beers. My father-in-law left a replacement cache and picked up all the shotgun shells. Tftc! SL

I was here last year with Saratoga crew and we put it back. I wanted to log it under my name. The container is now missing and there are lots of shotgun shells around that werent there last year.
