Goat's milk cheese, goat cheese or chèvre (French for goat) is cheese made from goat milk. Although cow's milk and goat's milk have similar overall fat contents, the higher proportion of medium-chain fatty acids such as caproic, caprylic and capric acid in goat's milk contributes to the characteristic tart flavor of goat's milk cheese.

Maybe a Mountain Goat will seek this cache.
A short distance from Barr Camp.

Hiked up to Barr Camp today and picked up a few caches that I have been meaning to get for a long time. Grabbed a trackable that has been there for a while. Tftc!

This cache has been on my to-do list for far too long. Like Spivey's Revenge and Purple Mountain Majesties, it was always just a little too far out of the way. But ernie66 and I were in the general area today and as he had done this cache many years ago, I trusted him when he said that the cache was not at the top of the large rocky "hill." I was already exhausted and we had many miles left to go. So I decided to do it, but I remarked that it was very strange that chefstern wouldn't put his cache at the top.

It was at the top. What a cool spot, though. I could have stayed there all day (and tried), but was finally forced to leave. An absolute favorite and I'm sorry I took so long to finally do it. TFTC.
