The second of this is gone as the last cacher noted. Until i find a better hiding spot you can find the first part and still log this!! Ill be back.

Ever have a caching day when you question why you are doing this? Disappointing day for us. Started out with hopes of getting close to 20 and getting some multis as we are trying to increase our number of multis. Instead we got about half what we hoped for, DNfd the one multi we tried and ended the day DNFing an easy cache that had just been found yesterday !!
This was our multi attempt of the day. Found first stage easily and confidently proceeded to the final.. Based on our coords and hint we were sure we were in the right place but where was the cache? Looked and looked, finally called a previous finder who assured us we would see it if it was still there. On our watch list for now.

I missed the first stage in my first crack at this - but then the CO gave me a hint thanks for such a quick response!!). I was looking in the wrong spots and it was one of those moments where you wonder how you couldn't have seen it when it was staring you right in the face! What a cute container. I had never seen on like that. I raced out to the culvert to see if I saw the second stage but I just took a cursory look and didn't see it. Then it started raining. So this is like half a smiley. I am going to try to go back soon to find stage 2 and sign the log. I didn't want to leave my DNF in place and discourage others from looking.

Our last find of the day as we made our way back into town. Found it rather odd that the previous cache only lasted a week here before it was archived. ??? ???. Took nothing, left nothing, signed the log. Thanks for the cache.

Today I staggered out to Lakewood for a few caches. I couldn't find 2, but wasn't surprised since the last cachers didn't either. This new cache was glaring at me. How could I pass it up? So I drove to nearby parking and set out on foot.
Really cool containers at both spots. But I have to agree with the last cacher. It will be interesting to see how long they last. They are somewhat exposed.
Deserves a favorite, though!!

[FTF] at 12:15. Saw this one pop up and thought that it was out of my zone, but got close enough while out and about, so stopped and made the quick find. Cheers!
