This is a Two Stage Multi Cache.

The two stages are just under a mile apart...as the crow flies.

The first stage holds the coordinates to the final and is shown in the image gallery and hidden in the rocks; also shown. 

The trip to the final is only accessible by foot and the hike covers several different types of terrain.

From the Final there is a great view of the Rifle area, you can also see the Maroon Bells.

It's starting to get hot and this my 3rd hike-a-cache. I may start hitting the P n Gs after one more. This must be part of DARRs 'lose your winter tire' series.

OK ,hum, how do I log this cache. other then a FTF it was quite the adventure. and I will keep it as that. wet rainy and came in from wrong direction with the Curly dog and a hike to the finall stage it was THANKS darr for the long hike the dog and I had a good time running for rabbits and watching the Muley's on the next ridge over. It was too overcast to see the view but fun it was. Quards were spot on thanks for ftf Why I give this a Favorite darr will only know.
