National Chocolate Eclair Day is a sugary, sweet way to start your day. It's a sweet, tasty way to end your day, too. Eclairs are a light, crisp pastry filled with a pastry cream. They are most often eaten as a dessert. They can be eaten at every meal, or as a snack.

We hope that you are not on a diet, or watching calories, carb or sugar. Because participating in this day, means consumption of high calorie, high carb, high sugar eclairs.

Did you know? Eclairs originated in France.

I went to the 1/19 event in Parker and I had to budget enough time to make a stop here. I'm working on the 360 degrees of Colorado and somehow this cache is in a red ray surrounded by green. I swear that ray is taunting me. So I just had to turn it green. I made it to GZ, hopped through the snow, and got to searching. While I was searching I had to wonder if someone uses this as their smoking spot. Must be someone tossing them over the fence as there weren't any other footprints through the snow. Anyhoo, I made the find and got the log signed. Thank you for the smiley and the green ray! Find #3143.
