Sewing Machine Day When : June 13th and September 10th Sewing Machine Day celebrates a very important invention ----- the sewing machine. The first sewing machines were made in France in the 1830s. It wasn't until 1846, that they were patented in the U.S. What a great invention. Prior to it's creation, clothes items were sewn together by hand...stitch by stitch. People who know how to use a sewing machine are dwindling in number. Our mothers and grandmothers had a sewing machine in the house. They used it, too. But, look around your house. Do you have a sewing machine? Chance are, the answers is no. If you have a sewing machine, enjoy today making things with it. If not, consider picking up sewing as a hobby. Today's Thought Provoking Saying: "A stitch in time saves nine." ...Saves nine "what"?

I've traveled all the way from Norway, together with Heltinnen, to do this awesome road trip. Four weeks, ten states (including the last two we need to have finds in all 50), several National Parks and monuments, several hundred geocaches, a couple events, and a lot of fun! We spent a lot of time planning the entire trip on cachetur.no, so we were well prepared with all the information we needed.

Day 28 of the trip. The last day of the trip. Since we had some hours to spend, we continued on our project of finding the caches around the Denver airport. We found a total of 42 caches today, not a single DNF BigSmile

A very nice day, beautiful weather and almost no traffic. It's a bit sad that this is the last day of the trip, but this was the perfect way to end it.

Thanks for the cache!

Had the whole day to waste waiting for my coworker to get into town, so I figured I would grab some easy ones. This is so not fun doing park and grabs by yourself. Oh well...TFTCBigSmile
