This is a challenge cache so it is at the posted coordinates.  The cache itself is a 1.5/1.5, but the difficulty is increased because of the challenge.  To claim a find you must sign the log and meet the requirements listed below.  You are welcome to sign the log at any time, post a note, and change your note to a smiley once you verify the requirements are met.

LOL, anyone who's cached with kids knows that's the REAL challenge!  Gotta bring snacks.  Potty breaks.  Whatever you do, don't wake a sleeping kiddo!  Negotiating how many caches we'll look for.  Bring extra swag... for your kiddo to play with.  But it is all worth it to see the look on a kiddo's face when she/he is the one to make the find.  The challenge requirements:  find 250 caches with the "Recommended for Kids" attribute.

I qualify for this cache: I have found 2042 caches of type "Kid-friendly"

WOO-HOO! Who doesn't like Caching with Kids? My kiddos were the ones that introduced me to this insane hobby 7 years ago, but sadly rarely cache much with this old loon anymore. After hearing about my caching exploits over the years, they have resigned themselves to the fact that I am a hopelessly addicted cache freak, and want no part of my adventures. That's okay when you have other addict friends whose only fix is more yellow smileys. Benji and I enjoyed a wonderful morning caching run, and stamped a whole bunch of Challenges we either qualified for, or were close to. Thanks again for the fun, TFTC!

I joined forces today with GeoDog74 as we hit up these challenges and some lonely caches out on the plains. Will log as found when I confirm I qualify.

I used to cache with a kid, but now he's 26 and lives in CA. When he does cache he still enjoys snacks and making the find though.

This was the last cache of qualifying caches. It appears that we are STF after LostinDenver logged FTFs for this series. There were, however, signed field logs on the ones we visited. This was the only cache that had a dicey road with mud and potholes so I was glad I took your advice and let the mud dry out in this area before making the trek.

After using the challenge checker and discovering that GanderGoose had nine qualifying caches, Spartacus Geodog and I went for a ride on the plains. There was utter peace, beautiful vocalization of songbirds, and the nine caches. On the way back north, we saw a gorgeous pronghorn couple on the road.

Thank you so much for all your hard work putting together this challenge series in a beautiful setting, lasouthpaw!

Qualifying information: GanderGoose fulfills challenge A Plain Cache #04: Caching with Kids Challenge (GCA7VE2) according to https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA7VE2/77338. Have found 2230 kid friendly caches.

Today was rough. I worked, but had to leave early with a migraine headache. After going home, taking medicine, and a 4 hour nap, I was mostly recovered. I headed to an event, then off to a powertrail of challenge caches. That was a blast involving rolling skies and powering through muddy roads. Afterward, I headed northwest and cached back into civilization. Another great day of caching in the books!
Thanks for the cache!
