Near the opening to a cavern.
I placed this cache while out with family hiking in the area.

The cache is in a small jar near the opening to what I call a cavern.

Bring a flashlight if you want to explore the depths of the cavern, but you do not need one to find the cache as it is right at the opening.

You can drive within about a half mile of the cache and then you will have to walk in the stream bed the remainder of the way until you are within about 75 feet. You will then have to climb up through the brush and trees to get there.

Be safe and have fun finding this one.

It looks like there has been a lot of geologic/ecological activity in the area. The owner should check on this please.

Didn't find it 05/14/2019 By Cpl_Dirk
This cache hasn't been logged in five years. I thought I'd give it a try. It sounded really interesting. I had a great time, got to explore a beautiful canyon, but no smiley.

When I found it back in September it was in good shape. From what the previous logger wrote I doubt that he found the cache, which was well hidden. Just my thoughts.

Good spot, but original cache is gone. It looks like it was replaced with one that someone threw together with just what they had. Broken credit card, gum that only has one piece left and not much else.

Wasn't sure if I would be able to get out to this cache due to the recent rains, but the road was muddy in only a few spots. Had fund clamboring over rocks to get to GZ and then had to search a little for the cavern opening, but once I found it the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the hide.

This cache was our biggest adventure yet. First we got lost, then we got stuck, and then we almost dehydrated. SOOO... We made it out alive and we can say that we found the cache! For those looking for this cache, it is definitely HARD to get to and you should bring LOTS of water. It is fun and toughens up the climbing strengths. Great cache and the best search we have had so far in our geocaching history. Thank you UtahBigga for giving us a memory of a lifetime!
