The Great-tailed Grackle and Boat-tailed Grackle were once considered the same species. There is a considerable amount of sexual dimorphism in this species. Males reach up to 43 cm (17 in), including a tail that is almost as long as the body, weigh 230 g, and are jet-black with a violet-blue iridescent sheen to the feathers. Females are significantly smaller at 33 cm (13 in), weigh 125 g, and are mainly brownish-black, with a pale brown throat and belly.

Headed to the airport with @Windatmyback to pick up @intrepiidexplorer. Took a back road which turned out to be the road MOST traveled. Traffic jam. So we cut to a side street and grabbed a few caches while watching the other cars practically parked on the road. Initially, I was hesitant to stop for this one because we were in a time crunch. But I can't resist. The cache is in good shape. TFTC!

Parked in the neighborhood and walked about 3 miles roundtrip to grab a few of these caches. I couldn't resist because the temperature was 60 degrees and breezy. Thanks for all the caches. They were all in great condition and was only not able to find one of them.
