Cache(nano) is not at listed coordinates. You must solve puzzle to find container with log.

2, 7, 11, 13, x, x, /.

The posted Latitude and Longitude are off by an equal amount of feet to the south and west of the container. You can use the numbers and the symbols, in the correct sequence, to determine that distance, or just use your imagination to find GZ.

The total seconds the Lat. and Lon. are off is apr. 11.37.

Keep in mind that a deg. of Lat. = 60 nautical miles, or 69.04 statute miles. This varies only slightly as the earth is bulging from rotational spin.

On the other hand, Lon. varies a great deal. At the equator the lines are furthest apart. At 30 deg. Lat. 1 deg. of Lon. is close to 60 statute miles, making a minute = 5274'. These lines get closer until at the poles they meet.

Good luck, and cache on!

That took a lot of thinking, but it was fun. I'm so happy I had friends with me to help!

Thanks for the fun puzzle! SL. In Fort Collins today, my son had a campus visit at CSU.

The puzzle contained enough familiar elements so that it was not too hard. There was some little detail that I would have done differently but it was clear that it could not be that way. When I approached the cache site today, it seemed like it would be deserted but when I was almost there somebody sat down looking like he would not leave immediately. Oh well, I took a walk around the block and luckily he was just leaving then. I then found the cache in the second place I checked. Thanks for the mystery and the cache!
