Out today with great friends mooseyaround and GanderGoose. GG made a nice plan, including the Memorial Day event. Thank you for this placement padvindsterlieve. I was surprised to see that Santa Clause had joined in the fun! Maybe he got kicked out of the North Pole, and this is his "dog house" for awhile???

Met up with my longtime friend and geocaching buddy, GanderGoose, this morning to attend the "Welcome 2022 with SeekDaCache" event. After a blueberry muffin, a cup of coffee and a fun time socializing, we went out and found a few caches on our way back home. This cache difficulty was increased today with the recent snowfall, but I'm happy we found it and I earned a 3 for D. Great historical area and fun cache. Thank you padvindsterlieve.

Over time, I've gotten to the point where I only had 7 days left on my dates hidden grid. Well, when you get that close you may as well make a go of it and finish it off. I found 2 dates hidden I needed in the last week. So, last night I pulled up the possibilities for filling the grid and put together my plan. I wasn't sure where this one would take me and I was glad to have parking nearby. I'm finding the Denver area has lots of hidden gems like this. I have to admit I had some trouble with this one, and had to scroll back through some logs for a hint. Had it in hand in no time after that. Thanks for the smiley - find #2061.

We are on vacation from Alaska and are staying at a nearby hotel. We were done with our sightseeing for the day and came back to the hotel. It was a nice day, so I decided to take a little walk and do a little caching. One of the things that I like about caching is that sometimes a cache brings you to a place that you would not have visited and then you learn something. This is one of those caches. Thank you!
