This was an awesome hike out and back. Thanks for a fun set of puzzles to figure out.

Wow! What a cache! We started this cache last year and worked through all the stages one at a time. As we neared the final stages CrumbCrunchers moved to TX leaving this one where we stood. Upon her arrival for GW14er, we picked up where we left off and I was able to get to the final stage. It didn't take too long to work out the final coordinates and solve another puzzle while at it! Bonus! THeSKuLL who had helped with all the ciphers joined us on this fun hike! This was out second stop for the day. We recorded just over 6 miles on our loop with many caches. Once at the final GZ I was able to spot the cache and I was chosen for retrieval. This made for some fun pictures. This cache is completely unscathed from the fire. The plastic bag inside wasn't even melted. We signed and stamped the log and put this grand adventure to rest. Very well done with each stage. Thanks for taking the time to create this adventure for us. Definitely many of my favorite thing as well!

THeSKuLL, RPieperco, and I started this multi last year before I moved away. Came back this year for Geowoodstock and we knew this was going to be one of the hikes we did. Just as we began planning the hike 3williamskidz published some new caches. So we parked at the top of the road and hiked straight for this cache. Followed by some down a ridge and back up to another to continue our hike. Amazing hike. Nice to see life returning to this area after the fire. I'm sure RPieperco will have a grand story to share about this adventure. Sl, thanks!

Not sure how to start a log entry for this one...but WOW! What a ride!
I started working on this cache just a smidge less than five years ago, shortly after it published. It worked out so that I would find a stage every 6 months to a year after the last one was found and solved, which had me to stage 4 by 2012. Shortly after, getting that last piece became an entirely new challenge. I pretty much abandoned the notion that I would be nabbing the smiley for this anytime soon at that point. And so the gears stopped turning. Until Thursday, April 30th, 2015, when I noticed that some key pieces to searching this one out had become easily accessible. I was planning a trip home the following day, so I began collecting my waypoints and prepping for the final push. Saturday the 2nd of May was to be the day. I'm happy to say that everything worked pretty well according to my half-baked-as-usual plan. Found the final with a bit of maneuvering around and some carefully placed feet. Made it back home in one piece and enjoyed pie & coffee at Village Inn that evening.
The condensed version: Every stage of this cache was perfectly executed...challenging, rewarding, fun, and much more. Despite some alterations to the immediate locality of the final, the container, contents, and hiding place are in perfect condition.
A huge thanks to the CO for placing this. The stages of this multi have served as a major inspiration for some of my puzzles & multis of recent years. A stunning 5 year geo-project for me...I would gladly do it all over again.
Grabbed the coin, signed the log, and took in that view.
Adventure on, ladies and gentlemen...
