Found with the family during a road trip. Stopped here and had a great time exploring this little canyon. Took a bit to find this one with GPS acting goofy back here. Cache is in great shape. Thanks chalphy, dogda

We loved this hike. Today was the perfect day for this. Saw some scenic vistas. Gets a favorite because of the neat stuff we found on the way. Cache is in great shape. TNLN, SL. TFTC!

Visiting in Clifton for a few days and spent today doing a few of these caches. I enjoyed getting well away from the highway up a couple of canyons where all I heard was the sounds of nature. I also spent more time on photography than geocaching. TFTH

I stopped and made the hike for this and the other canyon cache on the first day of an intensive and long trip (3,250 miles) from Wellington, CO to various destinations in California where I hoped to find some great geocaches as well as visit some relatives I had not seen for many years. It was a very successful trip in all respects, and I’m now home and can begin logging my finds on some wonderful caches. My itinerary included finding caches in some Utah counties and DeLorme Atlas pages I had not previously cached in, finding some challenge caches in NW Arizona and across southern Nevada, finding a couple of California caches that were placed in the year 2000 including the oldest cache in the state, and spending concentrated time on the Siberian Matrix series and on the FSCS and KCCS caches west of Bakersfield.

It was a neat trip. This cache contributed to it, and I appreciated the break from driving with the nice hike up the rugged canyon. I had no difficulty finding the cache, and thank chalphy for placing and maintaining it in a rarely-visited spot that is nonetheless close to I 70.
