This cache is the sixth in the Bethune Cross series.

This hill is actually great to see fireworks displays beause it is such a high spot. On clear 4th of July evenings, it is easy to see two or three of the local towns fireworks displays at one time.

This cache is a larger vitamin bottle placed low to the ground near a cement marker showing this spot to by one of the highest points in Kit Carson County.

BugRanger and I wanted a last good caching trip to Eastern Colorado, and targeted the Bethune Cross for a little geo-art. By the time we got here we didn't have a whole lot of daylight left, but zipped along as fast as we could and finished up just at dark, missing only one. I normally dislike cut-and-paste logs, and I'll add comments where warranted anyway, but mostly we got the hang of these hides quickly and really appreciated the fun of the whole thing. TFTC!
