Thanks for the fun puzzle cache! Loved the container. I knew what the puzzle was about but spent a long time on the wrong track. Help from a previous finder put me on the right path. SL.

I looked at this puzzle a long time ago and understood what it was based on. I came back to it recently and with a bit a bit more effort I worked it out. I was certainly overthinking the problem. Took a bit of searching to find the cache but there it was. Nice hide! Cheers.

I was out and about caching with herndonrd when we decided to stop for this one. He had found it previously so he waited in the car while I did the deed. I loved the final container and how it fit with the puzzle. After we did the whole sign and replace thing we were off to another one.
I enjoyed this puzzle in part because it gets me very close to finally completing the Uber Mystery Challenge (less than thirty to go). In addition, finding a puzzle today helps with another puzzle (canned language about my insanity to follow).
I chose today to look for this one because I signed an insane challenge in California that requires me to find a puzzle cache on every calendar day of the year (save February 29th) in order to meet the logging requirements. I had no trouble finding this one and I am thrilled to be one day closer to completing the challenge, though I still have just over sixty days to go. Thanks for the fun puzzle, hide, and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.
P. S. No animals (human or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.

Solved the puzzle myself. Got some help from the CO and found the cache. Neat container. Fav for nostalgia's sake! TFTC!

Figured out the puzzle and thought that I’d swing by and grab this one. Ha, not so fast! Had a snake encounter during my search and nearly gave up. Decided to continue searching, scraped up my arm, and eventually made the find after considering some really yucky options! Super cool container! TNLNSL. Thanks for the puzzle and the adventure!

My caching this year has slowed down significantly outside of a few big days. So even when caches that are close to my house pop up, it has taken me weeks to get to them. This is definitely one of those. However, part of the delay was the puzzle! This was a really good puzzle. After struggling with any clue of what to do I had a thought. I confirmed it with a previous finder but then got promptly stuck again. I ended up reaching out to another finder and realized I was completely overthinking this. So, although I figured out the nature of the puzzle, what I actually needed was alluding me. I finally got there but should've been able to figure it out myself. Oh well, some puzzles are just like that.
So, then I was sitting on solved coordinates for a couple weeks when an opportunity to swing by the final presented itself. The weekend is a great time to search for these as muggle activity is very minimal. I actually think I'd found a previous cache that was over here. But maybe the area just looked similar.
Anyway, at the final I was making that much harder than it needed to be as well! Given the nature of this family's hides, I was ready for just about anything. Turns out, all I needed to be was a little more persistent. I had actually got to the point of setting a timer so I wouldn't lose track of time (after already searching for about ten). Found it shortly thereafter. So glad I found it where I did! Love the container!
Really glad to get this found as it's another Fizzy square filled! Only 16 more.
Thanks for the hide MagicCacher. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

WOW MagicCacher...way to make me feel my age, but a big thank you for bringing back some great memories for me. Let me share my trip down memory lane with you....so back in the early 80's when I was in high school, this kind of puzzle broke in the US and was a big sensation. Of course back then there was no internet, so the fact that I figured out how to solve said puzzle without any help or hints from google made me pretty popular. Who would have guessed those skills would serve me so well 35 years later!!
So here's how it went down: Once PMC dropped the right hint about what kind of puzzle it might be I had it solved in minutes. He stalled for a really long time before heading out to grab the container and because I knew I would need him to reach GZ all I could do was wait. Here is the other cool part though...I got a new geo-mobile this past Monday and all I had to do was plug in my phone and it brought up the driving directions to the cache in the car!! (If you know me, you know stuff like this melts me like a 4 year old on Christmas morning.) This might have to be my most gadgety TOTT, but don't let PMC know because he is truly my most favorite tool and I'd hate for him to get jealous or anything like that ;-)
Making your cache a favorite for the great puzzle idea and lots of good interactions with PMC and his geo-brew. TFTC.
