This cache was placed with the enthusiastic permission of the Silt Historical Park. Please visit their website for their hours and latest events. www.silthistorical.org The cache however, is not inside the park and can be accessed 24/7.

The Silt Historical Park is a collection of buildings which were in use in the 1900's. The buildings were moved to the site over the years for preservation. The Park is run strictly by donations only, but presents terrific programs, demonstrations and events throughout the year.

First geocache find as a rookie. Thanks for the experience. We totally enjoyed it. Contents varied from details. Take a pen/pencil with you, there was not one in the box.

Just got into town today, from IL. Camping at the KOA for a few days while on vacation. No muggle trafic today because it's Sunday and the place was closed. Looked like a pretty cool place! Took the traveler. TFTC
