Midnight Sun is a partial manuscript of twilight, written from Edward's perspective. Its available on Stephenie Meyer's website, and is a very fun read for any twilight fan.
The cache begins N39 03.464 W104 47.622. Originally the start coordinates were in the Twilight Saga (GC2VE5Q) final but that multi was archived so now I'm opening it up to everyone. This is a bonus cache designed to be done at midnight (or anytime after dark). The trail is short, as it was a bonus cache, so if you are coming for it I would recommend checking out 66 Minutes To Midnight and 66 Minutes Past Midnight by ernie66 at the same time.

Bring a powerful flashlight or a bright headlamp. The trail to the cache might not necessarily be the most direct route back, so I suggest marking your starting spot for an easy return.

"Edward," Bella said.
I froze, staring at her unopened eyes. Had she woken, caught me here? she looked asleep yet her voice had been so clear....
She sighed a quiet sigh, and then moved restlessly again, rolling to her side- still fast asleep and dreaming.
"Edward," she mumbled softly.
She was dreaming of me. - Midnight Sun

Nice brisk walk to find this one tonight. Lemonheadmafia and I needed to come up to Bass Pro. Afterwards we came over here. Spotted it rather quickly. All is in good shape. Tftc!

I picked this one up while in the local area and chasing the last points I need to complete the ongoing Planets Souvenir Event. I was trying to get started as soon as possible, but I couldn't ping the first reflector until it was truly dark. Following the route was rather straight forward, although my progress was impeded somewhat by a local who had a angry dog out. After being blocked from forward progress, I had to fall back to the Xterra and grab my Tomahawk for protection. The dog seemed to respond to my renewed aggression and confidence and wisely kept its distance...barking and growling the entire time it stalked me. Once I secured the final container, the dog lost interested and left me alone...really? It was as if the dog was only interested in making me DNF...why would it suddenly leave me alone after making the find?!? You just can't make this stuff up...

Thanks to the CO for placing this nice night cache here for everyone to find and enjoy, TFTC.

A night cache adventure has been in the planning stages for quite some time, so I was nearly devastated when I thought my flight back to CO was potentially going to be delayed/cancelled. Thankfully, everything worked out in the end and we arrived at the park just as night was falling! This was the third and final cache we chased. Stages were a little further apart than the others we had done, so I was glad to have an idea of what to expect now that we had completed 2 others. Got a kick out of the final, as I didn't expect to be able to see it so brazenly out in the open!

We had started the night talking about various times the cops had stopped Rick while he was geocaching. As we were walking back after this cache, we noticed that our cachemobile was being babysat by one of the city's finest officers...! Ruh roh! Well, she ended up being super cool (knew about geocaching) and even took a selfie with us! In fact, she said it wasn't the first time cachers had asked for a pic, haha! Good times. Thanks for placing this one!

Thanks for another fun night cache!! This was the final of the 3 adventures for Kerewin0430 and I tonight and it proved to be a great story!!

I headed to Denver to pick up Kerewin0430 from the airport from her return trip to TX. After a stop for dinner and a few caches we headed homeward. With the dying light of day it was the perfect opportunity to swing by here for some more caches. Night caches even!

We started out from the parking spot very nearby and spotted the first marker quickly. Then the second... then... Hmmm.... There are a few spots that you have to trust you are going the right way and then the next reflector comes into view. Kerewin wanted to guide this one so we kind of took turns with the flashlight. It worked out well as the different angles really helped out!

After awhile it seemed we hit a dead end. Kerewin was leading us down the path. A few minutes later I turned us back because we were not seeing anything else. Then we searched around for some more markers but just couldn't find anything. Just then Kerewin asked "what's that!?" We headed over to investigate and there it was! Eagles eyes spotted it from a good distance away!

Signed the log and replaced as found. All is well here with this one too!

Feeling accomplished but a little tired we headed back to the car. Just as I crested the final hill I saw bright headlights and a spot light shining on my car. BUSTED!!! I laughed and told Kerewin "Welcome to the club!" At dinner we had been discussing how many times I've had run in with our city and counties finest! I knew the drill. Be pleasant, no irrational behavior. Turns out it had taken us roughly 2.5 hours to complete these caches and we had run over our time. It was just past midnight! Ha! Truly it was! Perfect! Anyway, a few words of what are you doing, park is closed, oh you're geocaching, at least you're not teenagers. It ended on a high note, a fun selfie with a very nice county officer!

Well this concludes this adventure. Dropped off Kerewin and headed home to get some sleep!

Found with animjason, DimensionGarret, Landen24, weasel311 and youkfish. We signed the log Sith Team to save space on the log aaaaand because we thought it'd be fun. While searching and tromping through the forest we pretended to play Star Wars. We used sticks for guns and pine cones as had grenades. It brought back the days of having a creative young mind and young heart. It didn't help that we all kept the "That's what she said" jokes flowing all day before the event in the park.

We got turned around a bit at the final but it took a much more keen eye than I have to see the the cache.

Found Midnight Sun on May 6, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Thank you, thebobcats for placing a fun cache for all of us to enjoy. I look forward to finding more of your caches.

Several of us ventured out after the event to find this one. I had attempted doing this at night before and couldn't find the second tack. I was given the coords to the final, but they weren't right so we found several of the tacks nearby which lead us to the right spot. CO might want to verify that the tacks are still all ok - I would have liked to have done this one as at night as intended. TFTC.
