Wow, that was a great hide. Signed the "log" below Denali41's. A favorite!

After a morning and early afternoon of working on various projects around the farm, I decided to end my day with some recreation instead of more work. My puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo joined me as I checked on three of my caches in Fort Collins where recent DNFs have been recorded. Then we walked to the latest of egroeg38's creations, wondering how I would do on another obviously challenging cache. I was fortunate in nailing it fairly quickly, and felt good with this find that capped a long day of activities. Thanks for another great hiding concept and wonderful execution of the concept! It of course earns a Favorite point.

With the generous help of the cache owner we were able to find this devious hybrid container. Leave it to George to find a way to challenge our Covidly-dulled senses. Well done, Sir George, once again.

Reading back to prior comments, it becomes clear that time of day really can matter here. We were hopeless during our prior afternoon visit. Had it in hand with 5 minutes this time. Will ping the CO to let him know why there was a difference.

Sneaky one.

Today it was in hand within 3 minutes. Last week I spent 90 minutes. Go Figure. Searched in the morning which made a difference.

Two of us spent 1 1/2 hrs (each) looking. The master has stumped us again!

Ah, George, George, George. We walked into another Driliin' George 3.5 assured that we knew what we should look for, and with some confidence that we knew roughly where to find it. Well, as you can see, the smiley is blue, not yellow! And there were two finds before us today!

OK -- to make it worse, we had texted the CO, and received a reply late in the day that confirmed that we were looking in the right place for the right kind of object. Sigh. You're too devious for us this time. We WILL RETURN!

Sunshine, a tool and the CO giving my husband a hint led to third time’s the charm for this cache. Nice river experience. TFTC and the challenge, George!
