After a day in front of the computer, I wanted to get out and about. Headed down to Commerce City for the evening. I've had a couple jobs down this way and cleared out some areas, but I missed a few caches here and there. Time for some clean up. Not exactly sure how stealthy one can be with chickens and dogs going nuts! This is my third time stopping by and the first time no one was in the "front yard." So I had to make the grab. Thanks for the smiley!

This was one of a few that I found on a short trip to Colorado and forgot to log. The trip through Nebraska is LOOONG and then the trip from the upper corner of Colorado to Denver is LOOONG and the little hides like this help to keep it interesting (and keep me from falling asleep!) Thanks for the fun and the hide!

TFTC! Another fun quick one! GZ was off by about 35 feet, but we used our geosenses to track it down. Been about 6 months, wanted to keep it from getting lonely. Heading home now. Had a fun day. Thanks for the fun hides!

Today I went geocaching with @2lablovers . We targeted caches north of our usual caching grounds. They already had this one, but were graceful enough to let me grab it. Well hidden! TFTC!

Time to pick up a few strays. The last time I was here didn't find it, but felt sorry for the poor horses! I think this was replaced since that time and the horses aren't around. Hope the owners are treating them better. TFTH SL

Very hot day for caching (temp showed 103 for hours !!) but that didn't stop us, although it sure slowed us down. Part of the slowdown was it was so hot that all our electronic devices kept overheating and then we would have to wait until they cooled off. We cached from 7A-7P with a fun event in Brighton in the middle.
This was our first cache of the day and I guess it was early - no dogs barking but there was a rooster crowing !! First to sign the new log.

Took away replacement. Placed a magnetic cache.
The dogs were barking at the horses on the carousel walking machine. The person pushing the wheel barrel didn't intervene. I wonder if the dog's job is to get the horses to walk in a circle. Cruel of these lazy owners.

I couldn't find anything here, of course the dogs were barking enthusiastically at me by this time. Not to give up, I left a replacement in a guarded spot. TFTC

Thanks, imusttravel2000! I like this series. The grandchildren went back to school today, so I had a little more time this morning to venture away from Arvada to find some caches. I just solved one of Mondo's puzzles with a final near here, so I went around Quebec Street between I-70 and I-76. I run a pocket query of all caches I haven't found within 12 miles of home, and this cache and the others were in this query. I am looking forward to moving to Colorado permanently in March so I can find the caches I did not have time for today.

On my way home from the zoo, I wanted to find five holiday caches. Ended up finding 3 of 5. There was a nice flock of chickens on the other side of the fence here. Thanks for the placement, imusttravel2000!
