This cache is on the edge of the Backcountry Wilderness Area, an 8200 acre conservation space that hosts such wildlife as elk, deer, golden eagles, mountain bluebirds, coyotes, rattlesnakes, and black bear to name a few.  Since this was so close to the conservation area, I obtained permission from both the HRMD and the HRCA to place this cache.

Bring your green swag and take note of what is under the lid.

Anne wanted to take a little walk, and I wanted these two on the East-West trail. Dropped off a green salamander TB. It seemed to go with the theme.

I decided that having the day off, I would focus on this puzzle cache. I had found the orange color cache a year ago, not realizing that it was part of a puzzle. I'll have to revisit it and take down the clue.

This was the 4th of the 7 needed to solve the 8th location. Great day for caching! The views of the front range from up here are spectacular! I'll have to revisit to clear out the caches here. Great area! TFTC!

Checked on the cache while doing the letterbox. It's still in great shape. Took out the non-green swag and added extra. Added a pencil and dropped a TB.

Doing some caches along the West Dry Trail and the East/West Regional Trail today along the south side of Highlands Ranch. Moved car west to Redtail park to finish these caches. Easy find. SL

I took the day off to celebrate my birthday and was joined by animjason on a FTF hunt. This cache was along the way so of course I had to stop and get it!

Well stocked cache and all is in great shape here. First in the series for me. I look forward to getting them all and eventually the final!
