It was a beautiful day for a drive up north ... looking for a mix of favorites and missing Jasmer months. We stopped here once before but the zoo was closed. Today it was open so we had a picnic lunch and then had fun exploring the sculptures. Adding a favorite point. Email sent.

How cool of a virtual is this?
I had a lot of fun walking through and around here. This is a hidden gem and is one of the reasons geocaching is so cool. It takes you to places you may never know about. I've sent answers via the message system. Thanks so much. Definitely a favorite point. Thanks for the smiley!

Spent the weekend in Colorado with Dagrandpa. Our priority for the day was to find a variety of different caches in the Fort Collins area. It was an excellent way to see and experience the city and its surrounding area. The Swetsville Zoo was our favorite. Thanks to all the COs.

Spending the Labor Day weekend in Colorado and caching in Fort Collins area with VeesMom. Nice day no rain. Had hoped to do the Poudre Trail P M caches on bikes. After starting OK on the first few caches which were actually difficult because of the thickness of the vegetation and the numerous possible hides we hit a string of DNFs and abandoned the quest. We then did a few more caches further south by the same CO and had much better luck. So it goes. Thanx for placing.
This is an extraordinary place well worth a visit. The creativity and technical skill is superb. Hope it lasts a long time. We'll each give it a fav.

We were passing through the area and saw the favorites on this one and had to check it out and I am so glad we did! There are so many unique hidden gems in this world and geocaching takes you to them! For this reason I love this hobby and thanks for taking the time to place this cache and take us here. We got to meet the owners and hear stories of some of the artwork. TFTVC

We had this one on the list for quite a while, and with this warm weather we decided there was no time like the present to drive to FoCo. We found it easily enough and enjoyed the obvious sense of humor that the sculptor has, as well as his skill and imagination. What an amazing collection of work! We couldn't help smiling at the whimsy that is reflected in all the characters expressions. The local birds obviously like having ready-made nesting cavities as evidenced by all the dragons and dinosaurs with nests in their mouths. It's rumored that the zoo won't be around for much longer, and it's easy to see why - location, location, location. It will be a shame if the arts community of FoCo doesn't step up to acquire these works and add them to a park somewhere. Assuming they ever become available, of course! The answers have been sent to the CO, and thank you for bringing us to this fun and fanciful zoo! This definitely gets a favorite point from us.

11:53 AM I was in Denver this week on business. Afterward, my wife and I are now driving through the northeast CO counties and points of interest in KS, NE and WY.
When I sorted by favorite points in the Denver area, this popped up. I'm glad I included it.This great fun. My wife and I both enjoyed it.
Answers sent. Thanks, n0wae, for setting up the cache for me to find.

After finding 2100 caches in seven days with Alamogul in Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota (all new states for me) I decided to stop off in Denver between flights and drive up to Wyoming for one more new state. I primarily wanted to log the webcams in Cheyenne and Laramie, but I also logged eight virtual caches en route and one regular cache on the continental divide. Thanks to the CO's for all these great caches!
