To start park on Western State College campus parking lot at N38 32.942, W106 54.932 and take the spur of the Colorado Trail directly east. Great views of Gunnison and surrounding mountains. Please watch out for cactus/stay on trails! The most direct trail climbs about 150ft in 0.3mi and is a moderate hike. This cache is maintained by Western State College Chemistry Club. If you like to run or mountain bike these trails are popular with the college and Gunnison communities.
The cache contains bits and pieces of Western State College memorabilia and Chemistry trinkets. We will be periodically
adding travel bugs that will travel to famous scientists homes,
research locations and back.
