Sounds like bad weather is headed this way, so I decided to take a long lunch and get a little exercise. I wound up staying longer than planned and doing a great big loop. Crossed over the bridge and started down the trail, wondering a little bit if I should be here. I didn't see any signs of homeless camps, so I decided to continue on but be ultra aware. Then all the prairie dogs gave away my position. One chirping at me after another. They were pretty brave, too, not ducking into their holes until the very last second. I started to wonder if they were going to gang up on me and charge. I was so distracted I was 80 feet beyond the cache before I realized I needed to turn around to find it. Thanks for the smiley!
