Located in Mt. Galbraith Park off the Nightbird Gulch Trail.
The hike on this hiker-only trail is on well established, if narrow, dirt path. Elevation gain is moderate as trail has a number of switchbacks. I suggest parking at the trailhead for Cedar Gulch Trail at N 39.46.413 and W 105.15.243 but there is another entrance for neighborhood access. From the main trailhead follow the well marked trail until you connect with the Mt. Galbraith Loop (about 1.3 miles). Then take the Nightbird Gulch trail to the cache site. Please stay on trail as you can get within about 150 feet of cache before leaving the trail to the cache site. There are rattlesnakes and other wildlife in this park, so use proper caution. In summer, there is little shade and you need to plan on bringing sufficient water.

Cache is a green ammo box that is well-hidden under a couple of rocks. I started the cache with an XL Riviera T-shirt, a TB, a blue ornament thingy, a Pooh Bear Pez dispenser, a car, some lip balm, and, of course, a valuable whistle.

Enjoy the hike and views!

Cache #1368! A quick find once I actually got to GZ. Finding a way up (and the back down) proved to be a bit challenging. Continuing up for more views, TFTC!

TFTC Great views. Unfortunately the content of the cache was wet and the soap and paper was starting to mold. I dried the log out as best I could, removed the rest of the perishables and left a sea shell, as I thought that was appropriate.

Second cache of the year and my favorite so far! Took us about 2 hours to hike to it from our location and it had an awesome hiding spot

Found while hiking in the area with Bhob to continue our Trailmix series adventures.

In good shape, several 2017 signatures, maybe muggles?

I came up this trail for an FTF this early morning. I have hiked Mt. Galbraith many times, but never this approach. Much rockier and steeper. Surprised this cache hadn't been found in so long. No found log since 7/15, but a log in the book from 2/16. Log was damp, but signable. I love the old log books. Spent some time looking through it.
