Geocaching Colorado

I have permission to place this cache.

I think these guys are so cute. They stand up and look around and bark at you if you get too near. They are like little furry people. They live in towns. I wonder if they have litte furry beds and little furry subways underground. Hmmm your inner child imagination could run wild.

According to my GPSr this cache is at 5280'
This location has a beautiful view of the Eastern Prairie.

Congrats to Fork L Man *FTF*

When an intruder comes near Prairie Dogs will hide in their holes while a volunteer barks in the distance.

Found this, but it was out in the open and looked like it had been mowed over. The log book was super wet and now it looks like we are the only signers. This needs maintenance. Thanks for the hide.

The logs and rocks and stuff that used to be in the field here are gone now, I looked under the pieces of board and rocks that were left but all I found was a golf ball, and didn't even see or hear a single prairie dog.

Glad there isn't any snow up here. That one was tucked away pretty smartly.

Happily this was a quick find because it was getting quite chilly. Prairie dogs must have been cold too because they were all hiding in their homes.

I brought my bike up to this area for a geocaching bike ride and managed to find 19 caches on my 25 mile ride. I found this one at 11:08 am. Thanks for the cache and for making my route more fun!

Cache is in good shape.

Thanks, Sparky! It was cool and damp this morning when I went out in the Westminster and Thornton areas to find some newer caches and a few older ones. I run a pocket query every night before I go out the next morning of all the caches I have not found yet. That way I have hundreds of potential finds, and I am not exactly sure where I will start and where I will end when I run out of time. I still have a few thousand in the Denver area to find, so I should be busy for a while.
