This geocache site was created by my daughter and me as a tribute to the men and women of law enforcement. It was originally opened on Easter 2017, but we had to deactivate the hide for maintenance last year. It was resubmitted for activation on Easter 2019. If you are fortunate enough to find it, help yourself to one of the items of law enforcement memorabilia in the container. Please consider leaving an item or note on the log to express your own tribute.

This geocache site is accessible from a hiking/biking trail. It is a short hike (less than 1/2 mile) from the closest trailhead. However, the trail has some small elevation changes and rocks protruding from the ground, so make sure you wear proper footwear and watch your step. From the geocache site, you will have a beautiful view of the Colorado Front Range.

 Hints

We created this geocache site on Easter Sunday 2017. When I asked my daughter for a hint, she said the site reminded her of Jesus' tomb.

This cache has been on a must-find list since it was placed. I finally made it down here with Windatmyback and my 7.5 month pregnant with twins daughter. We took the shortest route possible and made it without injuries. Then I saw the cache exposed and visible from the trail. Worried that it had been muggled, I opened the hatch. Happy to report all is well cool SWAG. So much FBI and DPD. Here is a pic of my personal swag. I dropped 3 travel bugs in the cache.
Thanks for backing the blue! And thanks for the cache!

{*FTF*} 4:38 PM.

Nice little jog to this one on a beautiful Easter Day.

This is the 1st time that I've seen a new cache come out as a republished previous cache with the same log but I understand how this could happen. Interesting to claim the FTF on a cache that has existed in the past but I guess this one is a new one in a way, I don't know haha.

After parking in the recommended area, I decided to get a little exercise and make a slight jog out of this one. I worked up a sweat and was ready to stop for a moment just about as I had arrived to ground zero. I like the theme for this cache and the included literature inside, especially the child's FBI book, very cool.

It took me a second to realize that this was a previous cache with an old log book because at first I was wondering where all of the signatures had come from so fast. This is a really fun area and I wouldn't mind riding bikes around here. I'm running out of Castle Rock caches so maybe I shouldn't go for the FTF's around here but I can't help myself, there are never new caches here so it's always exciting whenever one gets posted!

TFTC SL!
