You're looking for a small container about the size of a soda can. Lots of interesting things to see nearby. Beware of the cactus thorns in the area. Possible rattle snakes too.
As I was hiking along the path to place this cache, I came across two manly-man hikers who reminded me of Mel Gibson in the movie The Patriot. That got me thinking about the Gadsden Flag, which I've seen more often recently. Like the thorns and rattlesnakes in this area, it seems to say, "Don't tread on me."

Rock climbers like this area. You'll see chalk marks and climbing anchors in the rocks above the cache.

Also, notice the pile of brick-sized rocks. Do you think those were split by people, or by a force of nature? In fact, the whole shelf you're standing on seems to be made of a curious pile of rock shards. How did they get there? Why aren't there similar heaps in the area? If you've got a theory, please tell...
NOTE: There is an "easy way" and a "hard way" to approach this cache. If your compass tells you the cache is directly uphill, then that's the hard way. Approach this cache from the east, and the way will be mostly level, and you won't need to scramble up loose, dangerous rock. From the east of the cache, you can find a deer trail off the main trail and follow it to a noticeable level plateau on the dark rock at the base of the cliffs. Once you're on the plateau, do you see the climbers' chalk and pitons on the climbing routes nearby?

It took a little longer to find this one although the hint is right on the money! Follow the trail to the location. Much, much better and safer!
