This is the geocache that goes along with the Wherigo cartridge "Travel the Solar System".  Click the "Related Web Page" link above in order to get to the Wherigo page and download the cartridge.

This Wherigo Cartridge will take you on a virtual tour of our Solar System while you actually travel along US 24 East.

Once you reach Pluto, you will be directed to a physical cache container.

I successfully tested this cartridge on an iPhone using the wherigo app and also on a Garmin Colorado.

Sounds should work for Garmin receivers, so be sure to set your tones to "on".

Limited sounds have been added for other Wherigo platforms.

Be sure to unlock the cartridge and post a log on wherigo.com after you complete the cartridge and find the cache.

FTF Prize is an unactivated Wherigo Geocoin. STF Prize is a KJKlock PathTag. Congratulations to Cache Crazed for getting the FTF, and to MikeAndJuli for getting the STF. This was the first Wherigo for both of them, and we are happy to have helped open their world to my favorite cache type.

We really enjoyed this Wherigo. We ran the cartridge on our iPhone and iPad at the same time, which worked out well since the iPad quit running the cartridge just before we reached Mars. :o)
Made the find and retrieved the trackable to get it moving again.
The only thing we didn't enjoy was orbiting in and out of the flow of fast-flying "space crafts" to continue on our way.
Thanks for the fun Wherigo! Earns a fave point from us.

Here from KY visiting my daughter and finding some caches. I started this space travel a year ago and was on my way to Uranus when I realized if I kept going I would miss my flight back to KY. I’m happy to complete the journey today. Thanks for the Wherigo and perspective on our solar system. A fav!

Had my eye on this one for a bit because I love anything space-related. Talked to my GeoBugs about it. "Let's go!" they said. So off we went a few days later early in the morning. They loved it - even my one who hates geocaching. Can't wait to tell others about this one! Thanks for putting this together! Well done!

We intended to go after this one today, but the dry grass on the shoulder of Highway 24 was too much of a fire danger from our hot catalytic converter. We’ll come back on a rainy day.

Me too !! This worked excellent on the iPhone, and I needed a nice long drive. Gives a great perspective to how big space really is! Phew!
This marks my 10th WhereIGo ... the 9th cache type which I've got ten or more.
And there's a cache out here somewhere dealing with just that sort of thing, eh?!

Thanks for the education on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Made it through all of the stages easily and found the final stage without any issues. Cache box is in good shape! TFTC
