Update 12/21/16 - I knew it would happen sooner or later, the kids statue I originally used which had been at the Columbine Gallery on N. Taft Ave. has disappeared. The information below has been modified to reflect using a different statue of the kids as the starting point.

CONGRATULATIONS Denali41 for finding where the kids went and the FTF!!!

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!  Follow the instructions below to locate the final.

Loveland is a city with sculptures seemingly everywhere.  I drive by these kids often. They know where this cache is hidden.

To find the cache, first find the kids and mark their location on your GPSr.  The cache is at a bearing of 108.5625 grads and a distance of 1526.7 rods. The cache is NOT on private property! If your calculations don't place you solidly on public ground, you have made a significant error..

I've been looking at this cache for awhile and decided a couple of days ago it was time. I knew where the kids are so that wasn't a problem. Went there and plugged the numbers into the checker and.......sorry wrong coordinates. Hump. At this point I should have read the logs and found that the CO had put a buffer on checker, cuz I would have experimented a bit more. Instead reached out to the CO who was quite helpful. I recalculated put the new coordinates into the checker and..... sorry. Double hump. CO said I could reach out again, but this time I read that there is a buffer, so did some experimenting. Once I realized that I had the latitude minutes in the checker wrong I quickly had the final coordinates in hand. Off we went for a nice walk and after a bit of searching my geopartner spotted it. All is in good shape. I retrieved a forlorn TB that had spent most of the year in the cache. Thanks for the hide it was a fun adventure. Gets a favorite point.

I recently drove by the original location of the kids and they had disappeared. Now I didn't even know where they went. So I searched some more and found them again. They are no longer at the original starting point so I've adjusted the information on the cache page to reflect how to find the cache from the new starting point. I didn't change the photo but it should still be good even with the new location. For those that have found this cache already, the final is still at the same location so no second finds. For the rest of you, enjoy your search!

Came out here on a cool and cloudy morning after having breakfast down the road. Thanks again to the CO, who was very helpful. SL, took the bug to move along. Cache was in great shape. TFTC!

Had the kids correct, but needed a bit of assistance with one of the coordinates. CO was very helpful. Came out here this morning, saw lots of potential hiding spots, but never saw the cache container. The skull is a nice touch. Two of us looked for a good 15 minutes, expanded the search area a bit, but no joy here.

EDIT: CO was kind enough to meet me out here and verify the cache is still in place. If I had expanded the search area by another 5' I probably would have found it. Leaving the signing of the log for another day.
