Congrats SeekDaCache FTF!!

You can learn about the history of the Savery Mushroom Farm at the parking cords and the historical Savery Savory water tower is visible from the cache. Enjoy the walk along Mushroom Pond where ducks and geese call home. Might even catch a glimpse of a coyote hiding out in the wetland habitat. The trail is frequented by lovers of the outdoors, so some stealth may be required. Don't forget the pen.

Today @WindAtMyBack and I came up north for an event. We saw many friends and decided to go caching afterward with @2lablovers . We targeted caches with a higher D/T rating.
This one was well hidden. But a proper perspective let us scribble our names on the log. Tftc!

After the Chihuahuas-3 Choice with the 77s event we returned here to avenge our DNF. We brought help - LostinDenver and WindAtMyBack and they made it a quick find. Happy to turn this into a smiley !!!

Found with the CO while on a maintenance run. Hahaha I've always wanted to say that! We stopped by a couple other caches on the way here and we wound up stopping several times along the way to pick pokey plant seed hitchhikers out of our shoes and socks. We also stopped to see the ducks, a mama and six ducklings weren't too far from the edge of the pond. We wandered on over to GZ where I forgot all my geocaching skills. Wound up playing a version of hot and cold with the CO to help me make the find. On the way back all the ducks had come out of the pond, crossed the trail, and were gathered up by the fence. There must have been 30 of them or so. I wonder if someone leaves seeds or corn out for them? Thanks for the smiley and an adventure around Mushroom Pond! Find #2489

Last one for the day - ended on a high note! There were lots and lots of duck mamas in the area, but NuttyIrishman got the find after some close inspection. :D

This little guy was a challenge! ValJean246oh1 and I had to commune with nature (sit on our buts and look closely from many different angles) but we found it! That wraps today for geocaching at 6 sought and 6 found! TFTC!
