It seems some of you out there fear that aliens from outer space consider earthlings to be too hostile (you've got that right).

As a result, they have yet to visit or make contact with us. So, some of you (originators unknown) decided to promote world peace by establishing Wear Purple for Peace Day.


The goal of Wear Purple for Peace Day is to make the world a peaceful place and, of course, encourage alien species to make contact with earth.

TFTC! Up in Denver Stapleton area for three weeks for training. Figured I would take the opportunity to find some caches in the area to bring up my numbers. Cache is in good shape, signed the log and thank you for the smiley face on the cache map.

Took the long way back from lunch to grab this cache on its birthday. My phone was a little off, but once I expanded the search zone the cache revealed itself. There were a few folks going by the nearby drive through but I'd be surprised if anyone cared what I was doing. Thanks for the smiley and the birthday cache! Find #3447.

A couple mornings ago, while we were peacefully sleeping in our hotel room, a drunk driver plowed into 4 cars (including ours) along Colfax in downtown Denver. Today we were visiting the wreckage to retrieve the rest of our stuff and saw this cache close by. While hubby made some phone calls, I checked out the fence. Took a couple minutes to find, should have been quicker.

I then walked over to check out the open field, it looked like an alien landscape with little creatures popping up from some of the holes. There was one close by that watched me the whole time, shaking its tail & letting out little squeaks to alert the others of my presence. They were very fun to watch, wish I had brought the binoculars with me. TFTC and for the prairie dog show.
