So I placed this cache because I was out on a bike and then hike. I had heard there was a trail connecting Rustlers Loop to Horsethief, so I went to check it out. A few weeks prior I was on a search and rescue call for someone out on horsethief that needed to get carried out, and some meat head bystander suggested we use the Rustler's to Horsethief connector. Because none of us had been on it before and I had heard it was pretty exposed, we did the normal route to Horsethief along Mary's and it was a WAY better choice. Not only was this connector very exposed and narrow (I couldn't imagine carrying a litter through there), but there was minimal vehicle access. It would have been a disaster.

Anyways, this cache is on a primarily biking trail so be careful in these areas and don't have headphones in.

Out caching with TeamSeeShells before they have to go home to North Carolina. Have spent since January with them in Arizona and Baja Mexico caching, soaking up the sun, and eating real mexican food.

Life is good.

Having fun picking up caches with PeachBob while spending time in the arid SouthWest this winter. We spent time in the Quartzsite area with the SKP GeoCachers, and then a fun week in Yuma for the SWAG event. We went into Baja Mexico with Escapees Mexican Connection for some fun in the sun and some international GeoCaching. We came back thru Yuma and Quartzsite for a few weeks, social distancing, and picking up some caches. We moved to the Mojave Desert in California to do the Route 66 sign GeoArt. We are now in Grand Junction for a few days before heading back East.

TFTC SL (some logs signed as PB &, TSS). Cache # 3292.
