Out for a bike ride on gorgeous Spring day. This one came up as closest when we stopped for a break. The log would not come out so I tapped it lightly on the ground and unfortunately the beak broke off. So sorry.
I put the beak in the nest so the owner can find and hopefully fix before it gets lost. Again, sorry.

Since it had been a while since this one had been found, we made the short walk to check on it. The cache is still there and in pretty good shape considering its age. We replaced the damp log and hope that people will take the time to find this one. It should bring a smile.
