Have camped, hunted and hiked here since I was young and have always enjoyed the views. Seen many a turkey and lots of owls in the area!

 

Parking is not to far off from the cache location but some hiking will be required. Please enjoy the views and the abundant wildflowers from mid-summer to first snowfall. Container is the size of a small pill bottle and is decorated with colorful duct tape!

This road is rougher than I thought it would be. Got closer to GZ and took the left fork but there was 2 vehicles of hunters at just shy of dark so we turned around & took the right fork. Many trucks wandering around up here. Got to within 320' so we parked & took our torches so they would know we weren't elk. Down down down to finally the cache. Then back up up up.

When I came to the "Y" in the road naturally I chose the wrong road. After backtracking and taking the right road I was able to drive within 550 feet of cache. Easy hike with the last 50 feet being the steepest. No owls or turkey today just the cache which is in good shape. TFTC
