Enjoy a nice hike.... a gorgeous view of horsetooth... the falls... and some excellent literature.

This 'book club' cache is filled with some excellent works of fiction. Trade one, or just snag one in exchange for some standard cache swag. I'll be sure to keep this one stocked : )

GETTING THERE: Take Co Rd 38E West around the south end of the reservoir, and about 2 miles away on your right is the HORSETOOTH MOUNTAIN OPEN-SPACE TRAILHEAD.

1) Take the HORSETOOTH ROCK trail
2) Take a Right onto the HORSETOOTH FALLS trail
3) Take a sharp Right onto the SPRING CREEK trail (it loops back towards the cache)

This is a great place to take the dog... enjoy

Congrats to Kai Warrior for the FTF

Quite the hike up... Gorgeous views! Last year I saw a 4+ foot snake on the wathen trail. Glad it's still cool enough the snakes aren't out! Tftc

The book club has fantastic views! Hiking around the open space today with Lidlove and the pup. Signed log and replaced as found. Having a snack and then looping back...TFTC:-)

In the flatlands of northwest Ohio, a T3 cache means you have to go down a 10' slope off of a railroad grade. I'm a looooong way from Ohio today. My local 'guide' figured out what trails we needed, but our preferred parking lot was parked full. By the time we set out from the old homestead, DNFed Tree of Life and made our way here, we'd already covered over six miles and climbed about 1000' I was a little uncertain about the last 300' or so, but the coordinates were spot on. I hadn't read the description ahead of time so I made no exchanges, just a short messaged in the logbook. And almost 2 miles and 1000' back down to the car... thanks for placing this at such a scenic, secret spot - my new 'furthest west' cache, probably for quite a while.

Found it (good thing, after I dnf the other one I was after)! Nice view & an area I have never been to before. Left a fantasy book. Made a loop out of it.

On a great hike with DG49 & her Grandson Chad. Here for a couple days and decided to hike Horsetooth.
What a great day and beautiful scenery.
Disappointed we weren't able to get this cache, as the trail was closed off at the Sober... junction along the trail past the upper falls (only ,19m from GZ)
