Out geocaching with LASouthpaw today, finding caches in the Commerce City area. We parked at various trail heads, wandered around a bit, and had some pretty good luck with finds, and only one DNF.
We found this one pretty quickly, and soon signed the log. Thanks for the cache.

This one was really interesting. I had noted the log was jammed in the cache so I brought a replacement just in case. We found the cache pretty quickly and the log came out just fine. Then I noticed the last name on the log was BPickens and several of the names before hers were dated 2015. Wait a second, LOTS of cachers have found this, and we know a number of them. So we think there are two containers at GZ. We didn't look for the other one, just added our names to the log and headed for the next cache.

I haven't been out caching much, so I was super happy to be out and about with FayColSalTom today. We cached our way through some of the more industrial areas of town. We read ahead and brought some containers and logs just in case. I was prepared for a hard day, but we did much better than I expected. The weather was nice for us, as we were finishing up a cold wind whipped up. A sign it was time to head home, I guess. Thanks for the smiley!

Found it. It was in the dirt so I’m not sure where it was originally hidden. Took a minute to retrieve the log as lid was jammed. This is a great hide and about one of my favorite presidents!

Found this one but not in its intended location. Once I grabbed it I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get the log out with no luck at all. Of course my tweezers were in the car. Sending a picture to CO as proof of find. Placed back in what I think was the intended location. TFTC

We DNF'd this one years ago but happy to find it today.

This area has been hard to access for several months due to construction. But loneranger got in there today with the geo-dogs and decided to check on this cache. Surprisingly, the tiny hide was undisturbed and is waiting to be found.

After some shopping at Bass Pro Shops on my day off from work, I decided to tote along my bike for some riding and caching afterwards. I rode about twelve miles and grabbed a dozen or so caches. Not too many muggles this afternoon, but definitely some shady people around here. TFTC!

The day started out sunny and pleasant but ended with clouds moving in and very windy. Happy to find 20 caches but also had 4 DNFs. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Our 4th and final DNF of the day. You stumped us on this one. Turned everything we could, felt all over, but did not come up with a cache.

I love these containers. I was very glad to have a TOTT with me as last time I found one I did not and it made it difficult to sign. Trying for one or two more and then it is time to get out of the heat.

Thanks, imusttravel2000! I really like this series. Today I found geocaches in Arvada and Thornton, with a nice bicycle ride along the South Platte River picking up caches along the way. After spending the past several months in Texas, I am still getting accustomed to the altitude. This was a great day to get outside and find quality caches. We will be in Colorado until the middle of August, so you can expect my name on more logs.
